⚠️The Saint-Nicolas Tower is closed until further notice. The other two towers remain open.

Standing facing the Atlantic, the towers are the remains of a major fortification programme undertaken by the City of La Rochelle from the 12th century onwards.

Tips

• FREE entry with the La Rochelle Océan Pass: simply show the pass’s QR code from your “La Rochelle Océan Pass” mobile app at the entrance to each tower. Access to current exhibitions is included in your admission to the monuments.

Good to know: you can visit each of the towers at different times during the validity period of your pass.

Good to know

• There are no toilets at the monument.
• Suitcases and large rucksacks are not permitted.
• Smoking and eating are not permitted inside the monument.
• The monument is not accessible to minors unless accompanied by an adult.
• Pushchairs are not permitted on the tour route, but you may leave them in a secure area at reception.
