Transport & getting around
Getting around La Rochelle with Yélo
The Yélo bus network helps people with disabilities get around the city.
The buses and bus stops are accessible.
If you cannot take the bus, the ISIGO service can pick you up.
- You need to register and book in advance.
- It operates every day from 6 am to 9 pm.
For people with visual impairments:
- Some pedestrian lights emit a sound to help you cross safely.
- You can request a remote control from the Disability Office or the Tourist Office.
Parking in La Rochelle
If you have a Mobility Inclusion Card with the mention “Disabled Parking”:
- You can park for free in all paid parking spaces in La Rochelle.
- There are also reserved spaces near key locations such as museums, services and shops.

Parking near the Tourist Office
There are 2 disabled parking spaces directly in front of the Tourist Office entrance.
These spaces are free with the Mobility Inclusion Card.
You can reach the office without crossing the road.
The Vieux Port Sud car park is underground.
It is open 24 hours a day.
Lifts provide access to the street level.
After leaving the car park you need to cross the road to reach the Tourist Office.
You will also find adapted services within a 1 km radius around the office.
