Tides & weather

Tides are influenced by the Moon but also by the Sun. Their intensity varies according to a coefficient ranging from 20 to 120 which indicates the tidal range. The higher the number the farther the sea recedes and the closer it rises to the shore. For swimming it is best to choose a rising tide which is safer. For shore fishing opt for high spring tides with a strong coefficient, perfect for exploring the rocks and collecting shellfish and crustaceans while always respecting local regulations.
