Our walk recommendations
From city centre to Minimes
Walk along Michel Crépeau Avenue and Allée des Tamaris. You can take a detour at the end of the Nelson Mandela footbridge to enjoy the sunset.
The Rompsay Canal
A cool, green interlude between city and nature. Ideal for walking or cycling, a stroll along the Rompsay Canal offers a real breath of fresh air. Along the way, you'll find a street workout park and a playground.
Coastal walk from Les Minimes to Aytré
Start at Minimes beach, follow the Stella Maris and François Péron paths to the Parc des Pères. Continue on to Roux beach with the wind in your hair.
L'Houmeau beach
From the port of Le Plomb, follow the coastal path to L'Houmeau beach. The path winds between limestone cliffs and secluded coves, with the Ré Island in sight.
